Gathered from Devon
Gather opened on Fore Street in 2019 with a single idea: cook only what Devon gives up that week. Menus are gathered from the fields, shoreline, rivers and hedgerows, shaped by classical technique, and served in a small, warm room where the kitchen is part of the theatre. In April 2026, that idea won chef Harrison Brockington the Roux Scholarship — the UK's most prestigious award for a chef.
